Prohauling Relay ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension designed for Amazon Relay truck drivers. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension accesses, how it is used, and what is never collected or transmitted.
2. Data We Do NOT Collect
The Extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. Specifically:
- No names, email addresses, or account information are collected.
- No Amazon Relay credentials or login data are accessed or stored.
- No load data, route information, or earnings data is sent to any external server.
- No browsing history is tracked or recorded.
- No analytics or usage tracking of any kind is performed.
3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The Extension stores the following data exclusively on your local device using the browser's built-in localStorage. This data never leaves your computer:
- User preferences: Refresh interval, filter settings, sound preferences, theme selection, and language choice.
- Installation date: Used only to calculate trial period duration. Stored as a timestamp with no identifying information.
- License key: If you enter a license key to activate the extension, it is stored locally on your device only.
4. Page Content Access
The Extension reads the content of pages on relay.amazon.com only. This is necessary to detect new loads and apply filters. This page content is processed locally in your browser and is never transmitted externally.
5. Permissions Explanation
- notifications: Used to display desktop alerts when a qualifying load is found. No notification content is stored or transmitted.
- storage: Used to save your settings locally across browser sessions.
- host_permissions (relay.amazon.com): Required to read the load board page and inject the monitoring bar.
6. Third-Party Services
The Extension does not communicate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks. The only external resource loaded is the Google Fonts stylesheet (for the Caveat font used in the toolbar), which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
7. Children's Privacy
This Extension is intended for adult truck drivers. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be made available in the Extension's Chrome Web Store listing. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
